NEARIMeet will take place on Saturday September 28 from 10.30 to 2.30 in the Education Building, Nun’s Island, Galway.
Because Féilte is running alongside NEARIMeet, we appreciate that people may need to move between NEARIMeet and Féilte. We welcome and encourage such movement between events and will facilitate those who need to arrive late or leave early etc to the best of our ability. Bear in mind that it is just a ten-minute walk from the main NUIG campus to Nun’s Island.
Our theme for this meeting is: Celebrating Critically Reflective Practice
Draft plan for the day:
10.30 Meet and greet with tea/coffee Group introduction.
10.45 Acknowledging ethics statement and seeking photo/video permissions
11.00 Round Robin (Part 1): Sharing our Research Stories. Short presentations followed by open discussion.

The Education Building, pictured below, is beside St Joseph’s Secondary School (The ‘Bish’).
If you are going to the main NUIG campus (where Féilte is on), it is recommended you take a taxi to campus, if possible, as clamping is in operation on campus.
If you are driving, the following are the parking options;
a) P&D (Pay and Display – blue lined spaces only on campus, there are a limited number directly in front of the Quadrangle in NUIG.
b) Cathedral Car Park is approximately 3 minutes walk, charges apply, cost is approximately €3-5 per day. (This is close to Nun’s Island where NEARIMeet is on.)
